Role of black glue sticks that came with the kit and none of the local stores of auto parts are just the glue. Something's not mail order if I can just use regular glue sticks without damaging the paint.

   compare what is in both, if chemical make up is the same should work

   Yes. I am a Dent Doctor with 15 years experience. I use many types of glue in my repair business. Some glue works better in hot or cold some work best in humid conditions. Any glue will work in a pinch. I use Walmart brand. Clean up with plain alcohol and lightly buff if necessary.
